Davies and Partners Solicitors in North Devon has provided support to the charity funded, community Atlantic Racquet Centre (ARC), which is providing a much-needed hub for people to exercise, socialise and learn together.
ARC is a volunteer led community business and registered charity, which is focused on improving the health & wellbeing of residents in Torridge and North Devon. ARC offers court hire, memberships and coaching across 10 tennis courts, three badminton courts and two table tennis tables. The Centre will also soon boast a gym, fitness facilities and squash courts alongside a friendly community café, all due for completion later this year.
Davies and Partners is keen to support local community and charity initiatives and has sponsored ARC’s new staff uniform and team kit. The new kit comprises a t-shirt and hoody, featuring Davies and Partners logo on the back.
The new uniform will be worn by all 12 staff members whenever the centre is open and delivering sessions, events and festivals to ARC’s 800+ members and thousands of other local people every week.
Medical Negligence specialist Solicitor, James Wickett, who heads up Davies and Partners’ Devon office said, “ARC is one of the leading social and sporting centres for Torridge and the wider North Devon community. Our Firm is very much part of the local community, and we are keen to give something back to this very worthy charity, who are creating a vital health, fitness and social hub for the region.”
ARC’s Centre Manager and Head Coach Tom Vinall said, “I’d like to thank James and Davies and Partners for sponsoring our new uniform and providing the funds to make this new kit possible. As a charity and community business, the support of local businesses is hugely important to us. We are extremely grateful to Davies and Partners for helping us to provide this much needed facility for people across the region.”
